Can Chemotherapy Help In Curing Lung Cancer And Tumors In Brain?

Hello Sir, My mother in law is detected with Lung Cancer and her OCM which is the ovary test of cancer has a mark of 1675 which is too high and her brain is also effected due to the cancer that has been spread. The MRI and the CT scan reports of the Brain says that the tumors or the cancer has increased in numbers in brain. Her right eye vision and voice is also gone. Now, she is in MICU on ventilaotor from past 15 days and now doctor has started her chemotherapy for her. Can this Chemotherapy given to her will make any change. And can we save her life in this state.

It is sad to disclose but patient who has brain disease and is on ventilator, usually have a poor survival and chemotherapy is of no benefit in such patients. I hope you understand.
