Can Charcoal Tablet Be Taken To Relieve Gas Due To Intake Of Viibryd For Depression?

I've just started Viibryd and this is Day 14 (10 mg). It's the best antidepressant of the lot--believe me, I've tried many and had many disasters. Not so with this med...I feel better than I've ever felt. There is a glitch, and wouldn't you know it; this is a New York Story. This med gives me gas like you couldn't believe. I'm thinking...I could take a charcoal tablet. I'm a longtime hardcore vegetarian, so I know that's part of it.

Hello. It is nornal to have gas in the early days that you are taking Vilazodone.
Tablets that you refer are a therapeutic option, another option would be the use of Metoclopramide 10 mg thrice a day .Over the day, the gas will decrease.
Please consult your local doctor for a prescription.
I wish you good health.
