Can Cervical Spinal Stenosis Cause Headaches And Hot Flashes?

can cervical spinal stenosis cause headaches and hot flashes...??? took a cat scan yesterday after experiencing headaches and hot flashes for 2 months and the cat scan apparently ruled out any infection...tumor...and anerurysm... about 2 years ago, i was diagnosed as having the onset of cervical spinal stenosis (of the neck)... so, i was wondering if my symptoms may be attributed to the stenosis...??? YYYY@YYYY thank you sooooo much...!!!

Hello,

Usually, there are possibilities of headache with the cervical spinal stenosis but hot flashes are too uncommon. I think you should take a fresh scan for the cervical spine so the internal soft tissue can get examined. Also using a cervical collar, for now, will help reduce the symptoms.

In my clinical practice of over 12 years, most cervical spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease cases have responded well to conservative management and also physiotherapy.
