Can Blood Sugar Levels Be Controlled With Diet Control And Exercise?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I just find out that I have high blood sugar, one doctor gave me Amaryl 2mg to take ones a day and the second doctor gave me Diamicron 60 mg MR, which medicine is better and if I stick to my diet and exercise can I get my blood sugar back to normal and not to continue with medicine. yes you can get rid of medicine .........the first line treatment for controlling of blood sugar levels is through diet and exercise.....then after the anti diabetic drugs are prescribed to control blood sugar level.........

1) diet should not contain much carbohydrates and starches(avoid sweet foods)......

2) exercise may be in the form of running or fast walking for at least 40 min daily.....
