Hello dear
I understand your concern
Stress is the aggravating factor for blood in the stool.
It is also associated with psychological behaviour.
But actual cause of the bleeding should investigated.
Stress mostly increase the bleeding in the
irritable bowel syndrome.
Other causes of bleeding during bowel movement is :
proctitis, polyp, piles,
inflammatory bowel disease,
microscopic colitis.
I advise you to consult the gastroenterologist and undergo investigation like Abdominal USG, sigmoidoscopy/
colonoscopy, fecal calprotectin, CBC, ESR, CRP.
Specific treatment require depends on the cause.
If all investigations will normal then it is psychiatric issue.
For that cognitive behavior therapy is helpful
Avoid stress, do regular relaxation exercise, walking and yoga.
Take diet like banana, rice, toast, curd, buttermilk, applesauce.
Avoid spicy/oily and outside food.
Avoid smoking and alcohol.
Hope this may help you
