Can Black Rashes On Rib Area And Chest Be Symptoms Of Eczema?

34yrs mother, My 10 yr old son was dx with eczema about 3yrs ago, doctor give him hydrocortisone ointment as needed. yesterday he didn t have the rash, but today after bedtime bath I notice his rib area, nipple area, and mid back rib area are black like busing. does eczema turn black?

In certain cases, it may turn black. You can use hydrocortisone ointment as prescribed earlier. If symptoms donot improve, then visit your dermatologist.
