Can Birth Control Pills Cause Irregular Menstruation?

hi i m a irregular period person ,i ve get my 4th times of pregnancy test-all negative right before and after my due period,why i m still miss my period And all the while ,i m having intercourse during my period and taking the emergency pill right after the session, will it cause my menstrual cycle mess up

I think taking emergency pill frequently can affect the periods. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and an ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. It can be due to some thyroid disorder or uterine or ovarian pathology.
