Can Bacteria, Causing Sore Throat And Inflamed Tongue, Result In Klebsiella Pneumonia?

I have recently been diagnosed with klebsiella pneumonia. Before I was dignosed I had a very bad sore throat and burning of my tongue which was blotchy and red. Could this bacteria also cause these symptoms? My dr has put me on levofloxacin. I sure hope I can finally get better
