Can Anxiety Be Due To Low Glucose Levels?

I have been jumpy during the night..sleeping then feeling anxious HR was normal I had a blood glucose drawn the next day around 9a which was 50..No identified helath problems usually not anxious even with lod-high levels of stress could the low glucose be related

Dear Patient, thanks for contacting HCM. From your symptoms It appears that your problem is due to low blood sugar. Are you diabetic ? If yes then please contact your doctor for adjustment of your medicine's doses. If you are not diabetic then please get Fasting and post meal sugar, HbA1c, E.C.G. and blood pressure checked and accordingly get treated. Meanwhile eat frequent small meals and do not miss meals and do not take undue exertion. regards
