Can Antihistamine Cure Dizziness Caused By Head Movement?

I have been having dizziness on lying down and on turning my head for over 3 weaks in spite of treatment with antihistamine. The diziness stops when I lie on my abdomen. I also have a pain in the left mid back for almost the same time but only hurts in certain positions and does not relieve with painkillers. Any ideas?

Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic

I am Dr. Shama and I will be answering your question.

I went through the history and it seems you are having dizziness. The antihistamines will cure the dizziness caused by problems in the vestibular system. Since the dizziness is typically present in you on turning the head, the anti-histamines may help in your condition. Hence continue treatment as advised by your doctor.

Do write back to me for further questions.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
