Can Antibiotics Be Taken For Pressure In Sinus And Cough With Yellow Mucus?
10 days ago I started with severe sinus pressure, aching teeth, and just feeling achy all over. I figured it was a sinus infection. My internist said I would have to wait 2 weeks before she would prescribe anything. since then I have developed a lingering cough. I was checked for Flu A & B, and strep throat- all negative. All though the sinus pressure has diminished some, the cough still lingers and this morning I had neon yellow mucus when I blew my nose. Do I qualify for an antibiotic in your mind? my husband and I are leaving out of town in 48 hours for a 3 week vacation. I hate to end up at an ER while on the road. Suggestions?

a pain killer like tylenol 3 times a day would help both in pain and swelling. Use a nasal dexongestant dor stuffy nose
