Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the general anesthesia drugs are not responsible for diarrhea.
* There can be administered intravenous antibiotics probably during the procedure, which may be accounting for the same.

I recommend to consume plenty of liquids orally and immediately contact your doctors office for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
