Can An Infant Be Given Over The Counter Medication For Red Puffy Eyes?

Hello Doctor, My son Ryden is 22 weeks old, weighs about 17 lbs his little eyes are red, watery and puff. He gets cranky ery easy and has broen two teeth at 19 weeks. No fever, and coughing iking he is trying to get something up when he has nothing in his mouth. Can I give him any thing over the counter?

Your son has been suffering from conjunctivitis. You may give him ciprofloxacin eye drop four times daily for seven days and saline water eye wash.
