Can Alcohol Content Show In My Blood Tests?

Hello! I have a question. I am feeling very odd and I am going in to get a range of blood tests done tomorrow at the doctors. However, I drank 1 light beer and one shot of Jack Daniels at around 10 tonight (I didn't even get drunk) and I am wondering if this will show up when the doctor does my tests? Also, do doctors even look for that type of stuff (drugs, alcohol, ect.) I am not old enough to drink legally, so this is a concern for me

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Alcohol can be detected in blood as well as urine after consumption.
The type of alcohol does not matter.
Any variety of alcohol shows up in the blood may it be beer, whiskey, rum etc.
The blood test for alcohol is done in cases of suspicion of alcohol consumption is present.

Thanks and take care
