Can A Swollen Knot On Waistline Be Lymph Node?

My husband has these welt look things on his waistline. They are not red, it just looks like a swollen knot in his hip region. Could these be lymphnodes? He says they go down and come back off and on. They are not sore just raised so his belt does rub on them.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of the lump. Possibilities that may need to be considered include enlarged lymph nodes, lipomas, cysts, growths from underlying connective tissue etc.
I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) of lump under his/her guidance.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
