Can A Swollen Foot And Swollen, Tender Breasts Indicate Hormone-related Problems?
I m a 53 year old, post-menopausal woman who has been taking hormone treatment for a year. Three months ago, my left foot became very swollen and does not decrease. A blood clot has been ruled out. Last week my breasts became very tender, are swollen, and warm to the touch. Starting to think this may all be related?? The physician prescribing my hormones said the foot swelling would affect both feet if it were hormone related. Thoughts?
Hi I think there is a good chance of these symptoms occurring due to hormones. You should undergo a mammography for your breast symptoms. Also consult your doctor and tell about your breast symptoms. May be you have to stop taking the hormones.
