Can A Sudden Lump On A Baby’s Collarbone Be Related To Cancer?
Noticed lump on collarbone tonight on 1 yr old. Must have grown extremely fast because it was not there earlier today. He has been sick for last couple of days (congestion, fussy, less appetite) and has a torso rash. Concerned with how quickly the lump grew and my wife is concerned it is cancer.

As per my clinical experience, a neck lump with the acute illness of congestion suggests lymph node enlargement, which appears in lieu of active infection.
That is not suggestive of cancer in most instances and fade away with precise care of the primary infection.
