Can A Scar Tissue Lead To Incomplete Colonoscopy?

I had an incomplete colonoscopy; the doctor said the reason could be scar tissue from my past diverticulitis episodes. He ordered and I underwent a Barium-Enema procedure; waiting for the results. Could this be a mass that didn t allow the doctor to complete the colonoscopy? Yes, I was fully prepped for the colonoscopy.

After an intervention there can be scar tissues created over the time. Yes, a scar tissue can lead to an incomplete colonoscopy. In this case the next procedure is Barium-Enema. You should not be worried and wait or he results.
