Can A Person In Coma Hear Other S Talks?

My husband died , succumbed to pneumonia but with other conditions, Parkinson s, myelofibrosis from polycythaemia, renal problems. For last 5 days he was in a coma. He didn t say goodbye or speak. Do you think he could hear me talking to him. I miss him so. Anne

1. Since Hearing is usually the last sensory organ to deteriorate when people are dying thus if you want to speak with him about sensitive matters, assume your patient can hear.
