Can A Lipoma Put Pressure On The Nerves And Lead To Vasovagal Syncope?

I have a large lipoma (approx. 1.5 inches) at the base of my cranium on the right side of the nerve column. It s been there a while but recently it has been growing. Also recently I have been having vasovagal syncope events occurring. Is it possible that this lipoma is putting pressure on my nerve column and leading to these vasovagal syncope events?

Hello,

Lipoma on the nape of the neck may not cause these symptoms.

Your symptoms may be due to cervical spondylosis or micturition or pain or postural hypotension may cause this problem.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. If the tumor compression carotid artery or carotid body may cause these symptoms.

So please consult your neuro physician/cardiologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
