Can A Hair Dye Cause Swollen Ears, Chest Pain And Itchy Rashes Under Arm?

My mum has come out in an itchy rash at gland points underarm groin neck,swollen ears,pain around collarbone and chest and really bad heartburn...no affect on eyes oh and back throat tongue bit swollen...would these symptoms be an allergy to hair dye by any chance or what could it be???

Hello and welcome to HCM,
If all these symptoms - itchy rash in underarms, groins, swelling of ears, pain around the collar bone and chest, swelling of tongue occur after use of hair dye; there is a strong possibility that these symptoms are due to allery towards hair dye.
Symptomatic treatment against these symptoms is required to control these symptoms.
Anti-histaminics are required to control these symptoms.
If these symptoms have appeared after use of hair dye, the use of the hair dye should be discontinued now.
