Hi, I was treated for hep c back in 2001 with interferon treatment.I no longer have the virus, now I was diagnosis with fatty liver disease is it possible that the hep virus can come back? I don t drink or smoke So Mike do I have anything to be worried about? Ok Thank You e

Hi there,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
No fatty liver does not cause hepatitis C to come back.
If 6 months after the last dose of interferon your Hepatitis C RNA is undetectable, you are probably cured of the infection and fatty liver will not cause it to come back.
