Can A Cyst On Left Posterior Lumbar Cause Sarcoma?

Is it possible to have Sarcoma from a cyst bordering the left posterior labrum caught on the left humeral MRI recently done? I have been asked to have another MRI of my shoulder. I also have been told my XRAY came back abnormal on my arm stating thickening of the humeral cortical bone. At urgent care, she thought it might be sarcoma.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

No. Usually a cyst does not transform into a malignant lesion, the chances are less than 0.1 percent. Don't worry. Please relax.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Haleema Yezdani, General & Family Physician
