Can A Bruised & Sore Shin Suggest A Fracture?

A week and a half ago I fell down some stairs and my lower shin (near ankle) is now bruised / sore and in some parts number? My lower part of my foot was black / blue from bruising and is now OK but my shin is still really sore? Could I have fractured it?

HI
Thank for asking to the HCM
I really apprecaite your concern if you have hostoy of fall and have some local sin of injury then it is the rule that the injured part need to be brouht to investigation to rule out the bony inury like fracutre because clincal sin and symptoms can not rule out the minor fracture or hairline fracture, hope this information helps you have nice day.
