Can Ziprax 50 Dry Syrup Be Given In Empty Stomach?

Hello Doctor. My daughter is not having anything from yesterday, as soon as she has anything it comes out. From today morning she has high fever also. We have shown her to doctor and he suggested some medicine one of them is Ziprax 50 Dry syrup.. Can we give this in empty stomach. Please suggest

Ziprax is an antibiotic containing cefixime.It can be given empty stomach. She need antiemetic as well to stop vomiting and antipyretics for controlling fever.
