Can Zentel Be Taken For Worm Infections?

Age: 23 Height: 6ft.1in. weight: 150lbs Hi, I am in India for past two and a half months and am afraid that I might be infected with worms. I read online about 'Zentel' which can cure the infection. Should I consult a doctor before taking the medicine? Is there any side effects to taking 'Zentel'? If I can take it, then how many days and how much do I need to take to get rid of the infection?

Hi, thanks for sharing your health concern with team HCM!

As per your description, I would like to advise you to take this medicine ALBENDAZOLE 400 mg at bedtime as a single dose by chewing only but before that you need to do a stool examination because there might be some more infections/pathology also! It is a safe drug!

maintain perineal / anal hygiene also!
