General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Visine eye drop contains decongestants that help relieve the red eye, it is mostly a symptomatic treatment, but will not treat the cause of the red eye. There is not enough data on the safety of visine use in pregnancy. Producers recommend not to use it unless your doctor thinks it is needed.
In your case I would say that you may try it following the instructions on the dose and aim for moderate doses, not the maximum ones. If it is not helping in 2-3 days, you should not go on with it but see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
