Can Tylenol Be Taken Along With Amoxicillin?

I am taking amoxicillin - they doctor prescribed two 500 mg at the outset (then 1 every twelve hours thereafter). Should I wait to take Tylenol, particularly since I just had an endoscopy with some biopsies taken. Seems I have an infection from a lot of necessary suctioning due to significant gagging during the procedure.

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic and is given in case of bacterial infections..

While Tylenol also known as Acetaminophen is anti-inflammatory , mild analgesic (painkiller) and anti pyretic (fever reducer).

Amoxicillin and Tylenol is not found to cause any drug interactions and can be taken together as per the advise by the doctor.

Hope this helps..

Thanks and regards..
