Can Trantas MF Be Taken For Irregular Periods?

Hello sir,My age is 43, height is 5.4, weight is 70. Suffering from irregular periods with heavy flow. Periods will come within 15-20 days every month. Consulted many doctors and taken many treatment. Ultrasound scanning, internal scanning, pap smiaer tests all reports are normal. But problem is going on as it is. On of my friend also having same problem, her doctor is suggested to take Trantas - MF Tablet to stop heavy flow. Same tablet I can also use? any side effects are there? without proscription i can take?

TRANTAS MF is composed of Tranexamic Acid (500mg) and Mefenamic Acid (250mg).
Tranexamic acid belongs to a class of medication called as anti-fibrinolytic. It prevents bleeding during heavy menstruation.
Mefenamic acid belongs to the class of medications called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It prevents pain during menstruation.
Common side effects encountered with its use include: Drowsiness, Diarrhoea, Abdominal pain, Dizziness, Headache, Heartburn, Nausea, Stomach upset, Fatigue, Headache, Muscle pain and Vomiting.
This medication can be used for your condition. However, you need to consult Gynaecologist for proper dose prescription.
