Can Tramadol Be Taken While On Xanax?

I am on xanax.is it o.k. to take tramadol also for pain?I have severe back problems due to a accident and inherited.i suffer in my back,legs and have migraines from my spinal codtion.tramadol has been the only medicine that has helped.i just wanted to be sure Xanax and tramadol are o.k. to use together.

These two medications can be taken together since there is no scientific evidence that some interactions or serious side effects exist, however, increased drowsiness may be present so you should not drive or do responsible activities.

. SO if there is medical indication then it can be taken just be sure to take it in recommended dosage and it would be good to start with lowest dosage. Also, you must be sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient of these drugs. If you start to feel any signs such as breathing difficulties or rash, you should stop medications and see doctor.
