Need advice re: Tramadol. I suffer from fibromyalgia and a lot of back pain. Deteriorated disc- surgery would not help- scoliosis, arthritis, etc. I am allergic to many medications. I can take generic Fiorecet but it has caffeine in it and would keep me awake if taken late in the day. I was left on Mobic for too long & my stomach was harmed, so now can t take anything in the ibuprofen family. A friend who is an RN suggested Tramadol. Researching re: this med. Would it be habit forming since it s in the opiate family? My pain mgmt Dr. did an RFA- Nov. 20th, but it din t help thus far. I will see him later this month. I reacted to Cymbalta, Savella, Lyrica, Ultram, and Dilaudid- very allergic to codeine. Fern
