Can Thyronorm Be Stopped If The TSH Level Has Attained 3?
I am 25 years old unmarried female have been taking thyronorm 25 mcg 1 and 1/2 tablets daily since 9-8-13 .Before taking the medicine TSH level was 4.94 and currently my TSH level is 3.07. Now I want to stop taking the medicine. Please advice. Thanks

Good day. It may be worth while doing an Anti TPO test. Do you have an enlarged thyroid??
Are you planning for marriage soon? If not, you could stop Thyronorm for 6 weeks and then recheck Free T4 ( FT4) and TSH after 6 weeks. If your TSH tend to start going up, then you would need to restart Thyronorm
