General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, tegretol may be taken after stopping klacid. Taking tegretol while on klacid may cause nausea, vomiting, vertigo (visual disturbances), dizziness, poor muscle coordination, rash, anemia and agranulocytosis. So, tegretol may be taken 2-3 days after stopping klacid.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
