Can Tazorac Topical Cream For Acne Be Used During Pregnancy?

Hello, I currently am using tazorac cream for my acne. And I am aware that I should not use it if I am pregnant or if I become pregant. However, my husband and I are wanting to become pregant and we are unsure of when to start trying after I discontinue my topical medication. What do you suggest? 1-3 weeks or more?

Hi..

Well topical medications does not cause such serious side effects that can cause any difficulty to become pregnant and if you have stopped using the cream already then there is further a negligible chance of any pregnancy problem..

So do not worry about it..

You can try to get pregnant as early as now and just take care of your menstruation cycle and accordingly see for the ovulation time that is generally at 14 th day of a normal 28 days menstruation cycle..

So you can have regular intercourse in those days to increase your chances of pregnancy..

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
