Can Spironolactone And Olanzapine Be Taken Together?

I m in transition male to female on cyproterone aceate and im also taking olanzapine, my doctor wants to replace cyproterone acetate with spironolactone, but ive found out theirs a moderate interaction between spironolactone and olanzapine, is it safe to change

Hi,

These two medications can be taken together since there is no scientific evidence that some interactions or serious side effects exist. So if there is medical indication then it can be taken just be sure to take it in recommended dosage.

Also, you must be sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient of these drugs. If you start to feel any signs such as breathing difficulties or rash, you should stop medications and see a doctor.
