Can Soframycin Ointment Be Applied On The Stitches Post Breast Surgery?

hello doctor. I had a small surgery on my breast a week ago to take out a fibroid lump. The surgeon has done internal stitching. Is it OK to put soframycin ointment over the stitches? Or do you have any other recommendations? I really want to minimise the scarring. Thanks.

Hi.Thanks for post on hcm.I went through your question and would like like to suggest that unless your scar has healed up properly do not give any tension or strech in that area.soframycin will not harm or betadiene can be applied.currently it's healing.After 12 weeks or so when its gets healed .you can apply anti marks bio oil.take care.
