Can Sleep Aid Be Taken During The Day?

I have a product called Sleep Aid which are caplets containing 25 mg diphenylhydramine HCL. The label says take two at bedtime. I have a very bad cold and cannot sleep, mainly due to coughing and running nose. Can I take these tablets more than just at bedtime? How many mg would be a safe dose during a day? Also when I cough, I have pain in my back and abdominal muscles. I am takin ibuprofen for this. Any interaction between the diphenylhydramine and ibuprofen?

Hello,
You can take 25 mg up to 3 times during the day and 2 at night. It is very sedating though. No interaction with ibuprofen.
