Can RID Lice Shampoo Be Used During Pregnancy?

Hi. I m very worried. I caught lice and I m 6 months pregnant, so I used RID lice shampoo for the 2nd time with in 2 weeks.. My friend came over and I brought it to her attention and she said it could be harmful to the baby. Is this true? Can this harm my babies development? Please help.

RID lice shampoo contains insecticide that kills lice. As you have used as shampoo so there is very little chance of getting is absorbed in the body. If it gets absorbed in the body then it can adversely affect your baby. But no need to worry as you used it as shampoo. But do not use it further.
