Can Primoult N Be Taken For Missed Periods?
Hi dr. I am 21 yrs old and itz second time that i have missed my periods. Last time when i had missed it, doctor gave me primoult n tablet and i got my period back after 5 days from the time i started taking the tablet. Now again i missed my period this month. What should i do? Should i take primoult n tablet or no? Plz answer im very worried

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, the same process is underlying the same symptom. for this reason, a medication usually works every time if it worked the first time.

If you are sexually active, you should consider a pregnancy test.
Other causes of delayed or irregular periods are: (1) emotional stress or illness
(2) physical illness
(3) thyroid disease- levels of thyroid hormone should be checked
(4) high levels of prolactin hormone- this can also be assessed with a blood test
(5) polycystic ovarian syndrome.
It would be best to find out the reason for the irregular periods.
