I took primolut to delay my period. I took it for 3 days only. My last mens was on 27/09/12 n was due on 24/10/12. I had unprotected sex also. I did a pregnancy test today and saw a pale line which shows that I could be pregnant. Is there a possibility that Primolut affect Pregnancy test?

Hi,

Taking Primolut N can affect the results of some blood and urine tests. Do not take Primolut N if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. If you think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
