Can Pravastatin Be Taken To Keep LDL And HDL Levels Under Control?

You probably don t want to give an opinion on this but should I take Pravastatin if my HDL is 102, LDL 132, and Triglycerides is 35? I m a very fit 66 yr old, never smoked, and exercise daily. Both my parents died of heart related illness but then they smoked their whole lives and never did a day of exercise.

Since you have LDL value of 132 mg, you can take Pravastatin, so that level is reduced. Plus you have a very good lifestyle, that should also help. Thanks.
