Can Piriton Be Taken For Itching Caused By Fexofenadine?
I am allergic to penicillin and erythromycin, I have recently been prescribed doxycycline for infected cellulitis of my lower leg. This has brought me out in a very itchy rash covering the whole of my body. I had been taking piriton to ease the itch. My gp has now prescribed clindamycin and fexofenadine. After taking just one dose of fexofenadine the rash and itching is worse. Is it ok to go back to taking piriton?

Piriton is a brand name of antihistamine drug Pheniramine. You can even used for any drug allergy or allergic eruptions. And I think Clindamycin has provoked allergy, not Fexofenadine.
