Can Phenergan Cause Irregular Heartbeats?

I m taking Zoloft 100mg, just started a zpack for a bronchial infection last night and want to take 25mg phenergan for nausea but online it says that there is a potentially serious side effect of an irregular heartbeat between zoloft/phenergan, zoloft/zpack AND zpack/phenergan. Neither the doctor or the pharmacist mentioned this when I asked if it was ok to take them all together. Advice please?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

As you correctly stated, there is a risk of interaction between z pacck/azithromycin and phenergan and also zoloft and phenergan.
The more serious interaction is between the azithromycin and phenergan.

You can consider trying dramamine or peptobismol to help with your nausea instead of the phenergan.

I hope this helps
