I had nausea and severe headache when taking codeine once in the past. My doctor prescribed oxycodone/acetaminophine for pain after arteriogram/installing 2 stents in my celiac artery. I have had severe pain for 5 nights. Tramadol did not help. Should I take thd oxycodone??

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
You can try small dosage and then raise it if there are no symptoms. This doesn't look to me like it was allergic reaction so I don't think there is some risk of taking codeine again.

I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
