Can Omnacortil Syrup Be Given For Wheezing And Cough In A 3-year-old?

Hello doctor my daughter is three year six months old and her weight 12.5 kg.she is suffering with fever ,wheezing and cough. Fever 101 she have . I gave meftol p syrup 4 ml . Omnacortil syrup suggested for wheezing and cough . Can I give this to my daughter

As you mentioned that your 3 year old daughter is having fever , wheezing and cough.
Meftal p syrup ( mefenamic acid+paracetamol) will decrease fever ( temperature ), while omnacortril ( steroid i.e. prednidsolone) will act as anti allergic and bronchodilator and will provide much needed relief within a short time , so you can give omnacortril to your daughter .
Hot fomentation and steam will also be useful for such patient.
