Can Nurofen Be Taken For Headache While On Atenolol?
I am currently on Atenolol 50mg and I was wondering if I can take Nurofen when I get a headache and the panadol doesnt seem to work. I get headaches when my period is due ( I call these hormonal headaches). I am 47 yrs old and dont have high blood pressure. Im on Atenolol 50mg because my heart does extra beats. Thank you Victoria

Nurofen causes as a side effect high blood pressure. So, to treat the headache, I would better suggest using Acetaminophen which has lower side effects on the blood pressure.
