Can Norvasc, Hydroclortizide, Bystolic And Lisonpril Cause Chest Weakness?
I have high blood pressure and take 10 m of Norvasc, Hydroclortizide, 2.5 of Bystolic, and 10 milligrams of Lisonpril. My blood pressure is controlled but sometimes when I take a nap or wake up in the middle of the night I feel weakness in the chest. It s almost like a wave feeling...not pain. Could the medications be causing this? I have been to a cardiologist and all tests came out normal. Also going through menopause
You are going through menopause and you are on antihypertensive . At this point of time you have at least 2 cardiac risk factors . As you have mentioned you have some wave like feeling not exactly pain in chest..We need to assess that whether it's severity is increasing whether it is associated with exertion or not..or their are any other cardiac risk factors . I don't kno which cardiac test were done..We can do TMT at this point to look for this.if this comes to be negative then we can consider some other causes such as Gastroesophageal reflux disease or a manifestation of menopausal state.but first we have to be 100%sure that it's not because of any cardiac cause.hope this will help.
