Can Metronidazole And Nifuroxazide Be Taken Together?

can i take metronidazole and nifuroxazide together? I work here in Africa and I was taking metronidazole for diahrrea but it was not having any effect. I went to the pharmacy and was given nifuroxazine and was not told to discontinue metronidazole....now i m finding out on the internet from some sources they should not be taken together and others saying they are fine together. Which is true?

this can be due to high blood sugar levels as well as low .. in hyperglycemia patient feels dizzy due to dehydration which can result in life threatening condition known as ketoacidosis.. where as low sugar levels can also cause dizziness if she has taken more amount of insulin or missed a meal .... will give history of sweating with it ... it can lead to coma... so both conditions are dangerous .. she should get her sugar levels checked fasting as well as random... should change her dietary habits to reduce weight and proper glycemic control..
