Can Metformin Cause Knee Pain?

Dear sir, I am having knee pain from last few weeks, I was taking Noculi syrup for kidney stone during last two months. But now I am recovered from kidney stone, My KFT test is also OK. But now I am taking metformin 500mg, thrice a day with insulin twice a day. Is the knee pain side effect of any of these drugs? I am a male & my age is around 35 years now. Thank you for help.

Hi,

No it doesn't.Till now I have never heard of it . It could be early onset arthritis . You should get it checked with an Orthopaedician.

Hope I have answered your query.
