Can Lyme Disease Be Cured Permanently?
I am a veterinary surgeon in Australia, I have been having shivering bouts and am wondering if it could be Lyme disease... I have had many scrub ticks over the years... the last one only months ago. Australia is not so keen to acknowledge Lyme disease. Is there a treatment ?

You have to confirm the diagnosis before commencing treatment. The symptoms are very non-specific and we can not be sure that it is Lymes disease.
You can opt for various serological tests to confirm the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed you can opt for various treatment options like tetracycline which is regarded as very unlikely effective.
